What are the sponsor's obligations?
The sponsor is the incorporated body that agrees to accept legal and financial responsibility for the grant on behalf of an unincorporated organisation. The sponsor must ensure that the funds are used for the approved purpose. Cheques for successful grant applicants will be sent to the sponsor. If we sponsor an organisation, does it disadvantage us when we apply ourselves?
No.
If we sponsor an organisation and they do not complete their financial accountability, does this disadvantage our organisation if we apply for funding?
