2005-06 Annual Allocations Report

You can now access the Gambling Community Benefit Fund's Annual Allocations Report for 2005-06. Read about successful projects that were completed and the resulting benefits to Queenslanders.

Make sure your application is complete!

Additional information factsheets have been developed for organisations approved for funding by the Minister. The factsheets provide specific application guidelines for Aboriginal Shire Councils, local ambulance committees, SES support groups, rural fire brigades, parents and citizens, and parents and friends associations.

You must download the additional information factsheet specific to your organisation. These factsheets contain instructions that must be followed when completing the application form. If you do not follow the instructions, your application will not be completed correctly and it will be returned to you for resubmission using the additional information factsheet.

The factsheets are available through the grants guide.

Changes on how to apply - October 2005

The Gambling Community Benefit Fund (GCBF) is pleased to announce changes to the funding application package, which will be effective from 1 October 2005.

The guideline changes are:

  • all incomplete applications will be returned to applicants and will not be held by the GCBF Secretariat for more information;
  • organisations that can substantiate in writing that they cannot reasonably access a professionally qualified auditor, a certification form will be available to meet accountability requirements through alternative arrangements;
  • Aboriginal Shire Councils can apply as an organisation approved for funding by the Minister for the first time;
  • organisations cannot submit a new application until a grant from a previous round has been acquitted;
  • organisations must prioritise applications internally and can submit one application per funding round; and
  • larger state-wide organisations operating branches across a number of regions can submit one application for each branch. To determine if your branch is eligible please refer to the frequently asked questions.

Further information on these changes is available in frequently asked questions. The new package is effective as of 1 October 2005 and can be downloaded through the grants guide or by contacting the GCBF Secretariat on (07) 3247 4284 or 1800 633 619.
